You can check by looking whether the plus or minus terminal of your battery/batteries is connected to car body: body positive ground not good for this pump. Brand new unused in the box solid state negative earth Genuine SU fuel pump for MG TF from car 1510, MGA, and 1962-1964 MGB to 44438.

Terminal to body negative ground good for this pump. So if your car has not been converted yet and still the original positive ground/earth, then this pump will work. These also fit Austin Haley BN1 and BN4 to C.E. It uses the stock banjo fitting connections and mounts just like original SU pump, but is for negative earth cars.
