If it is then 23 has to be the year. I know a couple people with hot rods and one or two that race but think this is more pump than they need. This unit may have no issues at all. When I got the unit wire leads were flush with insulation no exposed.

It says if you want low-flow hook up the yellow to black wire. Otherwise you wire the yellow to a separate module for variable flow. It looks like my wire stripper did kind of a number on the insulation, crushing it. It looks like it was touched up with some black paint of sort.

This unit appears to be an return. It may work perfectly for you. So what you see is get. The unit did have Fuel residue when I removed the cap.

I see that on the mounting there have been some alterations to two of bolt holes. Again I am selling this as a core. The instructions say that you're supposed to hook up the yellow wire red get high flow 100% of time. It looks like it was shipped to the customer and then back.

I'm selling this as a core with no warranty. I don't know what the story is on this unit and that's why I'm selling it as a core only. These units are rebuild able. I am guessing that this stamp is a date.

Perhaps he ordered the new unit and got a rebuilt, I can only guess. On the there is a stamp 06 23 04. That's all I know about this item. I stripped the insulation back with my wire stripper in order to be able test whether it was functional at all.
